Ice Making Tips

1) Use Timers: By controlling when you produce ice with a timer, you can use a bulk of the energy consumption in non-peak hours. This will reduce the stress of electricity consumption during the day and peak hours

2) By Bigger Machines: Bigger machines are much more efficient than smaller ones, and the price difference is negligible. So all in all, you should go with the biggest machine that you can afford.

3) Don’t Buy Water Cooled: These machines have a very high water cost, which increase overall operating costs.

4) Keep the Lid Closed: When not in use, keep the lid closed at all times. This traps the cool air in, and prevents having the ice making machine to overwork to keep the air cool inside if the lid is open.

5) Maintain the Equipment: By regularly cleaning the coils and performing other checkups, you will maximize the efficiency and life of your ice making machine.
